Center for Elders’ Independence (CEI) helps seniors live well! Through our coordinated comprehensive healthcare program called Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (or PACE), frail low-income seniors with complex healthcare needs can stay healthy and strong and continue to live independently at home in their communities. We provide medical doctors, nursing, home care assistance, rehab and physical therapies, meals, recreation, transportation and all the personalized services that older adults need to age independently and with dignity. Founded in 1992, the Center for Elders’ Independence is the East Bay’s PACE provider and we have earned the reputation as the one of the premier safety net organizations and community resources for seniors and healthcare in the East Bay.Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, I provide support to staff in delivery of HR services, policies and programs aligned with pursuing the Mission of Center for Elders’ Independence.

San Francisco Bay Area

Provide a range of human resources services, collaborating closely with clients, with the ever-present focus to assist each client in achieving their potential. Specialties: talent identification, strategic staffing, performance management, coaching, human resource development, designing and implementing learning strategies, facilitating the development of strategic plans, enhancing corporate culture, policy development, project development and implementation.

As part of the HR Team, worked independently and led a broad scope of activities such as: translation of Jawonio Core Values into day-to-day practices; interpretation of Jawonio policies; champion of performance management initiative; advisor to management on building stronger employee relations through employee satisfaction; and vigorously closing the gap in regulatory compliance. Clients included the staff of the Jawonio Cleaning Company, the largest employer of people with disabilities in Westchester County.Served as a consultant to supervisory management and proactively assessed and diagnosed Divisional issues in partnership with Middle and Senior Management, while making recommendations and implementing solutions. Additionally, ensured implementation, on-time delivery, and high quality on all HR deliverables and projects.
