I have enjoyed an amazing career as a make up artist working mostly with VIP's since the early years of video in advertising, photography, video and film professionals. This tenure has provided me with an insiders behind the scenes perspective in multi-disciplinary fields such as, sports, politics, entertainment, medicine, advertising, non-profits and NGO's.

Communicating ideas in an interesting and/or entertaining way requires a diverse set of skills, for example, insight, research, planning, and intention. Collaboration is key because all the contributors have their own valuable input. Each one contributing to the whole by the sum of its parts. Photographers, directors, art directors, producers, and craftspeople. I’ve enjoyed many of those parts as an actor, vocalist, producer, makeup artist, contributing to the writing and/or editing of the script, set decoration, pre-production, talent coaching, image consulting, time management, lighting, budgeting…chicken wrangling. Seriously! Integrating what I’ve learned through my diverse clientele in multiple areas of industry: communications, medicine, politics, entertainment, and education I apply systems thinking. These experiences have provided a unique perspective on how they may connect, and how I can contribute to save time, expense and be more efficient. At Human Engineering Research Laboratories, I learned my top aptitude is Memory for Design and Visual Perception, never imagining the doors it would open in an industry that was then in its infancy. Each experience has provided deep personal insights to what is required of each member of the production team. These "characters" have been shipped all over the world and are regular additions to amusement parks, events and entertainment venues.

I served as supervising producer for Judy Brooks and Roy Walkenhorst of Lightbridge Media for the seasonal production of their PBS series, Healing Quest. Finding the location, booking the crew as well as providing some set design.

Featured talent representing Home and Garden Television for two seasons. The gig coincided with my first (and only) child being born. The network at that time wasn't ready to embrace that image so .... next! I voiced some tv shows for them afterwards...

I was priveleged to announce the latest lottery winners along with Announcer, Rich Hardaway,as we shared the stage with host Geoff Edwards. I presented winners their multi-million dollar (faux) checks on stage during our live-to-tape lottery television show. Talk about joy! It's incredible being in the presence of someone whose life is about to change in profound and dramatic ways right before your very eyes!
