At NETiKA Group I had to deal with different aspects of the IT companies’ world. I managed the technical decision-making of the group’s future web developments for next coming projects and products. I initiated and managed the technical and commercial design of new products in the fields of Sales Forces Automation and Location Based Services (GeoMobile service, see video for more information). Commercial development of GeoMobile focused on creating the brand name, identifying the services, defining the commercial strategy: direct sales, indirect sales, sales network selection, pricing and finally implementing the strategy with a sales team (3 members) and a reseller network (50 resellers within Belgium).Between 2004 and 2005 I also acted as a consultant in process flow/management for “DDB Groupe”, an advertising agency in Paris (1.500 employees and around 70 companies in the group). The goals of this mission were to analyze the cash exchanges between companies and the production flow.In 2007, NETiKA Group started the goa project for which I was the Technical Evangelist. This role implied on day to day basis, the management of: legal aspects of software licensing, press releases and blogging to increase the buzz around the product, pricing and support policies, prospect management via a CRM based solution, sale’s lifecycle definition, partners worldwide. It also included analysis and reporting to the board of actions undertaken, prospects/customers interactions and budget follow-up. Another part of my job was to manage an “Export Team” of 5 people based in Toronto, San Francisco, Bangkok, Sofia and Hyderabad. That team had the task for three months to detect and analyze the best channels for communication and sales process of the goa product.Since I joined NETiKA Group I had to deal and manage, on an everyday basis, project management and development with an outsourced team of developers, ranging from 2 to 10 depending on the project’s scope.
