Responsible for leading and managing special projects to supplement the CIO. Also responsible for all (three) remote MIS organizations and legacy business systems. Manage an operating budget of $4.7M and staff of 11 including 6 indirects.• Reduce Sarbanes Oxley controls from 176 to 51 based on focusing on the integrity of the financial statements.• Sourced, designed and implemented a Document Management System (Hyland Software’s hosted solution) in support of the company wide ERP system implementation and the organization’s document storage and recovery requirements.• Re-engineered and sourced new inventory control and shipping tags realizing an annual savings in excess of $250K.• Project managed the development of the organizations Business Continuity initiative. Completed IT Risk Assessment and Business Impact Analysis; defined and prioritized objectives and continuity strategies; and implemented Disaster Recovery solutions with respect to the business and underlying technical architecture. DR project 70% completed.• Managed the upgrade and implementation of an ERP system for fabrication division including planning and inventory control processes realizing a 31% reduction in raw and work in process inventory and 27% increase in productivity.

Managed and leveraged the organization’s ERP systems, network, voice and data infrastructure. • Designed and implemented a fully-automated centralized Distribution Center, reduced warehousing square footage from 1M to 325K resulting in a $7.5M annual savings; total sales distribution consolidation of over $400M.• Re-engineered Product Development process reducing overall time to market from 200 plus days down to 150, and generating incremental annual sales of $3.5M.• Developed and implemented a point of sale Vendor Managed Inventory System (VMI) for a large US chain customer resulting in a 65% increase in sales and 31% decrease in inventory.• Implemented MRP principles within a legacy business system realizing increased plant productivity of 21%, an inventory reduction of $1.5M and an annual operating expense savings in excess of $550K.• Performed two computer hardware platform changes and a multitude of hardware/software upgrades to support increased manufacturing and sales volumes with no down time (i.e. sales increased from $18 to $72M in 2 years).
