I am a detail-oriented, solution-focused, and accomplished Ph. D. graduate of Applied Science, Materials Science & Engineering from the University of Toronto. Throughout the progression of my career, I have developed a demonstrated ability to manage numerous early development research studies in a laboratory environment, as well as a comprehensive understanding of R&D processes including the principals of study design and execution. My primary area of focus has been in the area of cyclic deformation mechanisms in a wide variety of stress-controlled conditions – most notably publishing a thesis on the investigation of cyclic deformation response and crack initiation mechanisms under pure compression fatigue conditions.Additionally, I possess a proven capacity to produce comprehensive, technical reports and journal papers in addition to presenting results at global research conferences with high ethical and technical standards. Primary Achievements: ----------------------------------• Verified possibility of fatigue crack nucleation under pure cyclic compression without stress concentrator and its related mechanism; determined and examined the asymmetric behaviour of polycrystalline Cu between tension and compression loading spectrum.• Characterized materials by metallographic procedures, mechanical testing, and various microscopy techniques including SEM, EBSD, TEM, and AFM. • Concluded that crack nucleation/cracking is in fact possible under pure compression fatigue condition; presented research and findings at a global conference in Czech Republic.
