As founder and manager, I create content for our social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter) and website (plasticfreebc.com) while managing my branding and social media strategies. I have had multiple volunteers throughout the process and I manage and allow them to explore various aspects of the non-profit to a capacity they are comfortable with. I collaborate with small businesses and other non-profits to create content and have presented at various events on the subject of plastic pollution. Lastly, through this non-profit, I have been a part of a team that organized and hosted the Love Our Oceans Week event, and Zero Waste Scavenger Hunt, before helping the next cohort plan and host the Zero Waste Market the following year.
