Under my leadership our Desiccant’s department has consistently increased revenue by 20% each year for the past 8 years. I’ve done this by leveraging my knowledge and experience in the maritime industry to develop partnerships with various stakeholders within both small and large businesses alike, through dialogue and referrals. I’ve spent a substantial amount of time facilitating the growth of our product line, its presence and reputation in the Agricultural industry; gaining, over the years, an expertise in the industry, saving companies millions of dollars in cargo spoilage. This includes several large organizations in both North and South America to include # Fortune 500/Blue Chip companies.

I was asked to step into the role of Senior Business Development Manager of our Desiccant's department after 7 successful years in OEM & Land Hardware Sales. I played a very instrumental role in developing our strong footprint in North America by securing Fortune 500/Blue Chip accounts and brand recognition by cultivating an expertise in the Agricultural Industry. Over the years I have expanded this department and desiccant product line into Canada, Africa, and South America. Since my start in this department I've consistently increased my sales by 20% each year, secured multi-million dollar accounts, comprised a team of global business developers and distributors, and even spearheaded the research and development of 2 of our desiccants.

I managed scheduling for Original Equipment Manufacturers leading to the 500% growth in Buffers aftermarket sales and collaborated with OEM managers to get Buffer’s Twistlocks specified.

As the Global Logistics Manager I communicated with export/import and related authorities as well as customers and suppliers in all relevant territories and countries, as necessary to ensure efficient, positive and lawful relations, support and activities. I investigated, planned, and implemented strategically effective and relevant transport methods, which optimally met the needs of the organization, it’s suppliers, and customers, thus successfully securing several multi-million dollar projects. My day-to-day involved me collaborating with marketing, manufacturing, and purchasing to create timely cost-effective export and import supply chains. I handled technical specifications of international transportation (like complex documentation, multiple modes, and varying customs regulations) as well as issues involving moving freight overseas and holding inventory in multiple global locations. I developed logistics processes and strategies for entering new markets on a global basis and evaluated trade-offs between inventory cost, transportation costs, and service levels.
