The Philanthropies regional coordinator is responsible for the driving societal impact programs across the Middle East and Africa with a specific focus on Sub Saharan Africa including building partnerships and driving Employee Engagement programs. Digital Skills and Employment Initiative in Sub Saharan African :- Narrowing the skill gap and creating economic opportunities for youth in Africa is one of our core priorities and commitments. - The philanthropy regional lead will help manage the relationship with key initiative partners, manage implementing partners' performance, reporting, mentoring and evaluation. Employee Engagement : Our Employee Engagement mission is to empower employees to deepen impact through personal giving and the causes Microsoft cares about. We believe that every Microsoft employee should have the opportunity to give, should they choose to.o Enable deep nonprofit impact through skills-based volunteering.o Facilitate ongoing skills-based volunteering opportunities aligned to our core prioritieso Create a diverse volunteering portfolio that provides unique opportunities for employees to Make a Difference. o Collaborate with Social good Marketing, PR, and nonprofits to enable internal and external storytelling.o Manage employee volunteer operation, and report.Societal Impact : Provide Support to Societal Impact programs including NGO cloud adoption, AI for accessibility and AI for Earth including but not limited to:• Educate and create awareness on Microsoft Technology for Corporate Responsibility program.• Work with local subsidiaries to identify potential applicants for AI grants. • Support a unified nonprofit experience across sales and philanthropy.
