I am the National Head of our Risk Advisory Services at RSM Australia specialising in internal audit, risk consulting, corporate advisory and system audit. I am one of the six members of RSM Global Risk Consulting Committee where I represent Australia and the Asia Pacific region. I am also involved with RSM Global Digital Services initiative and currently Chair the Cyber Security Task Force. This has enabled me to participate in a number of Thought Leadership publications that have assisted clients all over the world. I really enjoy what I do, and love working in my field of expertise.I contribute to the advancement of the profession as well as contributing to the promotion of Women on Boards and diversity initiatives. I host a number of networking and information lunches for Women on Boards and senior women Executives. These lunches provides women (and now men) with the opportunities to get together and share experiences as well as insights.My principle areas of industry specialisation include financial services, energy, water, transport, infrastructure, government and not for profit sectors. I have over 30 years experience, and has responsibility for a number of large engagements. I have extensive knowledge and experience in the provision of internal audit and risk consulting services to the private and public sectors, including operational audits, focusing on economy, efficiency and effectiveness of business processes. I pride myself on the relationships I have with my clients, many of which I have developed a trusted advisor relationship with. I am a strong auditor with an ability to identify risk at a high level, and to focus resources on those areas genuinely requiring additional focus. I have a practical yet agile approach to auditing, and my additional qualifications facilitate a commercial approach to auditing.I am actively involved in all the audit engagement at a partner level, and spend a significant amount of time at my client offices understanding their business and adding value during the field audit.
