Developed and rolled-out the corporate vision along with an actionable strategy to improve the company's position as a supplier of technology and IP for systems and semiconductor companies.

Drove the rapid growth of the high speed serial interface business from its infancy to an industry leadership position, notably for high speed backplanes in networking applications and for PCI express in computing markets.

Drove Broadcom's optical networking business and new customer acquisition strategy. Developed executive relationships with telecom carriers to align Broadcom's technology development and M&A strategy with future market directions. Structured a startup spin-in and business partnership.

Initially hired to manage the Ottawa design center and subsequently promoted to a number of engineering and marketing management positions. Promoted to Public Networking Business Unit director in 1999. Founded LSI's HyperPHY high speed serial interface business, then grew this product line to generate over $80M/year in revenue by July 2000.
