• Oversee project management, monitoring, operations, and partnerships for nine grant programs including California’s groundbreaking Technical Assistance Expansion Program (TAP), a $23 million grant program funding a network of small business technical assistance providers that provide support to underserved businesses and nonprofits throughout the state of California. Oversee development, implementation and partnerships for the California Dream Fund program, a sub-program of TAP that provides $50 million in startup grants and entrepreneurship training to underserved startups in California.• Developed relationships, partnerships and strategic collaborations with community partners, policymakers and small business technical assistance stakeholders, conducting regular outreach and executive communications to share best practices and co-create processes. • Supported program monitoring, workflows, and grants management for four different Covid-19 Relief grant programs that resulted in the disbursal of over $4 billion to small businesses, microbusinesses, and nonprofits.

• Grew budget by 57% through new grants and partnerships with corporate, foundation, and government partners as well as with direct partnerships and sales.• Lead grant writing for proposals and reports for dozens of government and philanthropic grants, managing internal deadlines and coordinating finance and program staff.• Implemented CRM system to ensure recordkeeping and compliance with grant reporting and to enable moves management strategy. • Lead the rollout of digital marketing and customer research strategy to grow beneficiary numbers 5x.

Led product marketing and US market communications, developed and maintained strong strategic partnerships with a diverse set of stakeholders including local and national government officials. Co-wrote 80-page multi-country research report analyzing youth and women’s workforce development and entrepreneurship programs in Cote d’Ivoire, South Africa, Nigeria, and Uganda. Analyzed outcome data and made recommendations. Lessons learned were incorporated into TechnoServe’s global entrepreneurship practice area.
