• Monitor performance, maintain & troubleshoot the Beam Loss Monitoring system (~3600 detectors), including its tunnel (~450) and surface (~550) electronic cards which are responsible for acquiring, digitising, transmitting and process of safety critical data• Performing root cause analysis and identifying solutions to complex problems in the CERN accelerator areal• Installation and troubleshooting various types (gaseous, cryogenic, room temperature diamond and optical/fiber) of Beam Loss Monitoring (BLM) detectors and associated acquisition electronics in harsh radiation environments• Developing & reviewing quality standards, methods, work instructions & procedures for the production of manufactured & procured electronic products• Ensure availability of spare parts/systems by reusing obsolete electronic components
