I produced and managed Salem Hospital's public web site and related sites: salem.massgeneralbrigham.org, northshorephysicians.org, salemdoctors.massgeneralbrigham.org, northshoreurgentcare.org. I also produced the hospital's intranet site, in WordPress. I contribute to art direction and UX, with content creation and/or editing as needed. I lead and motivate internal teams, and coordinate internal approval. Management of our paid search and natural search campaigns (working with our vendor). Provided creative direction and gave creative presentations on major projects, including Reuters, CIGNA, Eli Lilly, Digex, Polartec and Putnam. Responsible for implementing the user experience on a variety of sites for a diverse client pool. Managed a team of information architects, and facilitated their collaboration with designers, developers and copywriters on individual projects. Integrated strategy, brand and technology requirements while ensuring that client goals for successful business solutions were met. Key facilitator of client/team relationships and responsible for resource allocation, schedule and budgets. Healthcare clients included: SmithKline Beecham, Serono USA, Eli Lilly, Schering Key and Astra Pharmaceuticals. Financial Services clients included: American Skandia, Sallie Mae, Reuters, Putnam, Fleet. Insurance clients included: ACE insurance and CIGNA.

Helped develop an Internet start-up company, including defining and hiring the copywriting and information architecture portion of its creative department. Responsible for IA work and copywriting work on the majority of in-house projects, which included Internet sites and CD-ROMs. Merged with AGENCY.COM in 1998.

For five years I developed scripts for interactive online games produced for NOVA. These monthly science features appeared on the PRODIGY network (using their proprietary software). I later developed content for the web, producing the first Arthur web site and small science segments for NOVA online.
