I have experience in recruiting, hiring, coaching and retaining an engaged team of property managers through demonstrating initiative and leading by example. I help my team members demonstrate sales-focused and customer-centric behaviors when interacting with our customers. I provide a welcoming environment to customers through effective facility maintenance and labor and vendor management. I respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner and address their concerns quickly. I identify and celebrate operational successes, as well as develop and implement plans to address opportunities. I conduct regular site audits, ensuring properties are safe and meet all company operational standards. I manage delinquent tenant processes, including coaching teams to reduce delinquency rates and improve customer retention. I communicate effectively with employees, colleagues and customers. I have managed up to 10 facilities in three different states at one time.

Through the Young Professionals Network I had the opportunity to meet people I would never otherwise have met, learned about businesses I never would have known about and participated in events that never would have existed. I had access to numerous business training programs and learned about the happenings in the community. As the President of the club, I engaged members of the Chamber of Commerce to join and participate in community events that would bring attention to their business and help stimulate growth.

I supervised facility employees and store performance ensuring that company policies and procedures were implemented and followed. I oversaw 12 different properties in the San Bernardino/Riverside area totalling between 5000 and 7500 units. Other responsibilities included, but are not limited to the following: •Responsible for training and counseling all site level staff working in conjunction with my District Manager•Supervises the ongoing repairs, maintenance, and Extra Clean standards of properties to ESMI standards. •Coordinates staffing and scheduling requirements as needed •Reviews Pricing and Competition Survey with Revenue Management and site personnel.•Verifies deposits are being made in a timely manner, petty cash reports balance, receipts/closing ledgers are correct, and customers are receiving any monies owed.•Follows through on any incident reports involving properties in their respective district.•Performs semi-annual audits and facility checklists, submits findings to division office and ensures follow up on any necessary action.•Supervises company auction process •Follows up on all customer service issues •Attends various company training, management, and division meetings on an on-going basis.•Makes property visits weekly ensuring company policies, procedures, and performance expectations are being met.•Develops a local marketing plan for each facility and follows up on implementation.•Interacts with Marketing Manager to achieve the overall marketing goals for the company.
