I am the Cofounder of SuitShop. A rapidly growing direct to consumer brand offering an inclusive collection of high-quality suits, tuxedos and accessories for every body, that you can own for less than the average rental, starting at under $200. SuitShop was launched in 2016, two years after getting married and going through the process of renting tuxedos for our 9 groomsmen. With over 13 years of experience working as a passionate Technical Designer (Apparel fit & production expert) for leading apparel brands, I knew there had to be a way to create a line of high-quality suits and tuxedos that could retail for around the same price as a rental but for purchase. I partnered with my childhood best friend and business expert, Diana Ganz, and over the past 7 years we have grown SuitShop into a multi-million-dollar brand, having outfitted over 100,000 customers, most for weddings and other special events.We have developed products and services that remove all pain points from purchasing a suit online and can get groups suited up easily, no matter where they are in the world. With our unmatched offerings such as Free Fabric Swatches, Free Home Try-On, our proprietary Suit-Up Your Group system and award-winning customer service, we are quickly becoming a well-known brand and leader in online suiting in the US. We have showroom locations in Chicago, Denver, Philadelphia, Boston and Houston, with plans to bring SuitShop showrooms to more in key markets in the future . Co FounderSuitshop Feb 2016 - PresentChicago, Il, UsSuitShop was created after a personal experience planning my 2013 New Year’s Eve wedding. With no other options available to affordably outfit our groomsmen, we were forced to go the usual rental route only to be incredibly inconvenienced and disappointed by the pick-up/drop-off logistics, poor fit, and $250 per tuxedo price tag. I have engineered apparel fit and construction for 13 years for major fashion brands such as Talbots, Abercrombie & Fitch, and Under Armour. Using my experience, I created a solution to this black tie and wedding attire dilemma: suiting that could be purchased for less than the cost of a traditional rental. -
