I am now working with the software development team, Unit testing code, and pre-testing before code is sent for verification and validation.

I worked at TiVo doing QE for the Client software on their latest DVR boxes. I reviewed engineering specifications, wrote test plans and test cases using TesTrak, logged defects in Bugzilla, and ran regression tests against daily builds.

I worked in the Delphi and CBuilder group. I was responsible for working with R&D to understand new GUI features, writing test plans based on Design Specs, and implementing both manual test cases and automation on these features. Daily work would include monitoring new bug reports from the field, verifying all fixed bugs in my areas, monitoring the newsgroups to help answer questions and logging new issues. InterBase is a relational database. My work with InterBase was done on Solaris systems. We wrote test scripts using SQL for new features. Britton Lee sold a proprietary database machine. My job was to maintain the logging code. When a customer had a failure, they could rollforward their logs to bring the database back into a current state.
