Initiated a new role for Hopkins as Director of Family Services in the Department of Human Resources. o Vendor management including oversight of three child care locations, as well as additional vendors to administer family benefits such as back up care, enhanced child care resource and referral and tutoring across both the university and health care system. Oversight of budget, quality measures, relationship, contract renewal RFP and launch of new products. o Navigated necessary and ongoing COVID-related changes to child care operations, budgets, enrollment and health practices in a fast-paced and uncertain environment.o Managed and grew the child care voucher program for employees and students, offering portable vouchers up to $5000.o Launched child care scholarship for employees and students, aimed at creating equal access to high-quality employer-sponsored child care. Awards up to $13,000 per child.o Oversaw an extensive network of lactation support rooms across all campuses including an innovative program to establish lactation supply vending machines so parents could replenish parts for pumps without work interruption.o Served as SME (subject matter expert) on cross-enterprise teams focused on child care and family solutions to enable staff and faculty to work and advance in their careers.o Hosted a conference on work-life initiatives for colleagues at other colleges and universitieso Nominated to the board of CUWFA (Colleges and Universities Work Family Association).During the pandemic, our office focused on response to increasing needs of working parents at all levels of university and health system.
