My parents were educators. My father taught history and my mother, Latin. My great uncle is post-impressionist painter Francesco Spicuzza. Education and the arts continue to inspire me.I began painting at age two. I caught the performance bug in first grade, when I accidentally stepped on my classmate's foot onstage and, hearing the laughter and applause, hammed it up and kept stomping. At ten, I wrote and produced my first play. In my teens, I wrote brooding poems and song lyrics in my bedroom. Now I'm an actress, writer, filmmaker and herbalist, and the founder and CEO of Seasons & a Muse, Inc. I earned a B.A. in philosophy and psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. While working on my M.A. in philosophy, I studied art history in Italy, Greece and Germany, and acting in London and Los Angeles.With appearances on television, radio and in film, and at festivals and venues, worldwide, I like connecting with people through creativity. I’ve received awards and nominations from ‘Shepherd Express,’ ‘Fade-In Magazine,’ the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the Vatican Division of Arts and Culture, the National Organization for Women and others. My work is published in 'A Gathering of Tribes,' 'The Nervous Breakdown,' 'Blue Fifth Review,' 'Quill and Parchment,' 'Shepherd Express,' ''Poetry Motel' and more. Selections from my screenplay "Breath of God" are on permanent exhibition with the Brooklyn Museum as part of Judy Chicago's "The Dinner Party." My paintings are available through the David Barnett Gallery.I created and launched Womanness Skin Care, and wrote, produced and starred in the VDKUF award-winning thriller “The Scarapist," which is currently out OnDemand.
