This included identifying business synergies and for providing leadership on system integration, policy/procedure transformation and change management for 2,800 non-union employees converting to Bell’s SAP system, pension/benefit plans and employee self-service. Also coordinated the introduction of multiple Bell programs to CTV staff including the Employee Share Purchase Plan, Employee Discount Plan, performance management, talent management, succession planning and two employee surveys.- HR lead for the CTV acquisition of CHUM, responsible for transitioning 3,000 employees to CTV’s payroll system, pension and benefit plans and for directing an extensive harmonization of policy and procedure. - Appointed to the Bell Media Pension Management Committee that had oversight for investment policy and governance of pension plans (14 Defined Benefit and 3 Defined Contribution Plans). - Recruited and motivated a team of corporate HR specialists to continuously support the business and its needs through improved metrics, more effective tools and simplified processes.

Reporting to the EVP of HR, responsibility and oversight for Bell Media Corporate HR functions including pension, benefits, HR systems, compensation, training and employee programs.- Promoted to Director upon BCE’s initial acquisition of CTV; worked as a member of the project team that merged CTV, Sympatico and The Globe and Mail under the Bellglobemedia umbrella.- Assigned as HR systems lead for the subsequent amalgamations of Netstar, BNN, CTV Montreal and CTV Winnipeg into the CTV family (approximately 1,100 employees). - Implemented a successful upgrade to CTV’s Lawson ERP system in partnership with a team of HR, Finance and IT project leads. This included the transfer of payroll in-house (from ADP) and the introduction of a number of secondary systems required to support in-house payroll functions such as direct deposits, manual cheques and the production/distribution of pay stubs. - Launched an electronic HR Forms System with IT that used intranet technology and e-mail to efficiently workflow New Hire Authorizations, Position/Salary changes, Leaves and Terminations.- Partnered with the VP and GM, MTV to successfully launch MTV in Canada by building a team of 120 employees from the ground up. This included recruiting the management team, staff and on-air talent, creating and negotiating employment contracts, on-boarding and HR support through MTV’s first year on air. - Strengthened communications and procedures between Corporate HR, Line HR and Payroll to service department managers and employees more effectively.- Developed a system that organized the production of annual compensation statements, plan documents and pay calculations for Executive Compensation and staff AIP programs.- Provided headcount and other ad hoc reporting for strategic analysis and workforce reviews.
