In this role, I partnered with software, product, and solutions architects and engineers to improve the design process, implement automations, and create workflows to that streamline current processes and procedures around product architecture. Some highlights include: • Spearheaded the integration and implementation of the platform and system migration from multiple legacy platforms to an integrated network-based system that offered one dashboard for all applications and data.• Assisted software architects in developing Agile product road maps and monitoring work custom reporting dashboards that provided insight into system, project, and integration status. • Conducted product lifecycle management and gap analyses to identify risk and redundancies across enterprise systems, leveraging business-critical analytics to understand impacts, dependencies, and complex relationships. I also deployed a real-time enterprise mapping and relationship management platform along with Jira technology and trained software architects in best practices and maintenance of systems, applications, and solutions. A highlight of the training component of this role was creating training manuals and materials to ensure consistency in domain data entries and application status reporting. I developed curriculum and facilitated ongoing online and face-to-face trainings and workshops to over 100 architects to drive consistency, enable deployment, and scale activity to within the system.

I was recruited to this position to lead a unique software development project as part of the University’s strategic plan to improve professional placement for master’s degree students upon graduation from the Healthcare Information Technology program.• Cultivated key partnerships with healthcare institutions and collaborated with third-party consultants to create a survey application that gathered insights into industry trends in hiring requirements, salaries, and internships. • Captured information from over 5,000 vendors, hospitals and companies to verify survey results that offered real world insight into the certifications, experience, and coursework that makes an IT graduate more marketable. In a second project initiative, I collaborated with the State of Georgia’s IT Department to spearhead the development of an extensive interactive map that collated all higher education institutions within the state offering healthcare technology programs and degrees.

As a technical project manager, I oversaw multiple development projects to provide strategic direction and clinical assistance on the development and maintenance of applications, data, reporting, and integrations.• Decreased standard installation time of new applications by 40% through the deployment of Six Sigma initiatives that supported rapid implementation of new customer installations.• Facilitated web-based classes to coach both internal and external users in system use which led to an 80% reduction in user error and a 60% increase in productivity. I also owned the Horizon Care Alerts product and aligned the team to successfully launch this rules-based clinical turnkey solution that improved organization of patient information and introduced automated patient monitoring and alerts. Part of that alignment included training physicians, nurses, and clinical staff on use of the patient portal for Care Alerts while managing the migration, implementation, and optimization during the transition from the legacy system.SENIOR IMPLEMENTATION MANAGER 2002 – 2005I administered all facets of the web-based Horizon Mobile Care and Mobile Messaging platforms, leading the implementation, development, training, and testing that connected physicians to secure mobile messaging and reports.

Provided pre-sales technical support, System and Data Analysis, RFP support, Contract management, Project Management on products such as E-Commerce, E-Mail, shared Web Hosting and web design within a cross-functional internal team (Sales, Engineering, Pricing, Product Management, Marketing, Finance, and Legal).
