Now Head of Campaigning/Fundraising for Chancellor Candidate Robert Habeck at Bündnis 90/ Die Grünen for Federal Elections 2025. I am a social equality advocate, a system change leader and feminist biased to build things. I formerly acted as the Co-CEO and Managing Director of CORRECTIV, Germany's leading public interest media house. We strengthen democracy through the means of investigative reporting, by counteracting disinformation at scale, with media literacy for everyone and through tech infrastructure for the next generation of community media start-ups. I am an experienced general manager, author, frequent public speaker, freelance writer and analyst on topics including building robust civil society orgs, transformation, feminism, class, East Germany, civic tech and entrepreneurship.In 2020 I co-founded future_s, a feminist foresight and advocacy organization that accelerates the transition towards a more equitable, inclusive and sustainable society by articulating desirable futures.In 2017 I joined GoFundMe, the world’s biggest personal fundraising platform, to build the DACH operations from scratch as leading regional manager. Before that I was Engagement & Brand Manager for citizen platform Change.org globally as well as Communications Director Change.org Germany. I grew the platform from 60,000 in 2012 to 4.5 million users by leading hundreds of national and international campaigns.In 2014 I co-founded Campaign Bootcamp Germany - the first inclusive campaigning training that qualified dozens of POC campaigners and campaigners with disabilities. I worked several years in consulting for Mercedes Benz USA, BBDO, the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and wrote for Financial Times Germany. I taught and published about startups, change management and innovation at Ostfalia University, most recently in the Handbook NGO communication (2018). I take my volunteering seriously and spent time and energy at the Centre for feminist foreign policy and ProQuote, Germany’s advocacy group for legal quotas for women in leadership positions. Social equity and equality and dismantling classism are topics close to my heart.
