I celebrated and amplified the imaginative world of children through user-centered creative strategy, art direction, and design. I delighted in brainstorming and playful inspiration for a multitude of departmental needs. My scope of work was vast including, promotional materials, ads, web/social media, publications, environmental/exhibit design, products, and absolutely anything else that should arise. I managed deliverables and oversaw outside vendors from conception to completion. I also created illustrations and digital art that invited children and families to join our community of play!

During my time at the Museum some of their most beautiful and memorable exhibits came to fruition. I was a key team player creating and visualizing unforgettable experiences for children and families. As an art director in the children's book division at PIL, I created almost any children's book format imaginable. From start to finish, I worked on story development, initial thumbnailing of books, and design. While there I became well-versed in some of the biggest licensed children's characters around.When the company expanded into interactive children's games and activities. I was one of a small group of pioneering members entrusted with the company's first critically acclaimed creations. My role included design and development of games, interfaces, and simple animations.
