I'm a 'people first' person who believes that success can be defined in many ways. And often times, success is more about how you impact others and the relationships you build vs. the title you hold or how much you contribute to the bottom line. When reviewing results of Myers Briggs or other corporate personality tests, I was made to feel that leaning towards introversion and scoring high on things like 'visionary- big picture', 'dedicated steward' 'creative' and 'analytic' were far less 'sexy' than 'true leader', or 'maverick types. I've learned that all types of personalities can thrive if you learn to leverage the qualities you have. Even still, after 20+ years in marketing and brand strategy, I had a desire to pivot in order to grow and sharpen my skills in other areas, including the enterprising and tech space that I was less comfortable with. While helping out a friend with some real estate and mortgage marketing campaigns, I saw an opportunity to combine my marketing experience with past experience in the real estate and commercial mortgage space. At the end of 2020, I started a mortgage company. I'm proud (and thankful) to say, it's been an amazing experience. And we're growing- even in this challenging market. I'm fortunate to have partnered with a few great people who love what they do and bring years of experience in the industry. Leaning into some of the traits I often fought in the past, I've built this company around relationships. My team measures success by providing the best advice and service to our customers to help them achieve their goals. We're focused on growing every relationship we have- from customers to teammates, realtors, partners and vendors. We know that the best things come from doing the right thing, even if it's not the best thing for us at the time. If you work with us, you'll likely become our friends!
