I was responsible for the domestic and international sales and marketing objectives for Magistic and Sydney Showboats including the meetings and Incentive markets

Matilda Cruises was a major Sydney Harbour cruise company with a fleet of 15 vessels includinglarge charter vessels (Matilda and Sail Venture), scheduled and special event cruise services, a fleet of "Rocket" ferries and a historic tall ship Solway Lass. In 1996 the company changed from a family run business under the Lloyd family to being owned by AHL.Responsibilities included managing the reservations team, charter sales and the educational cruise division (schools). During my tenure I was directly involved with 2 major company restructures, managing shore operations and new product development across the fleet.It was a privilege to work on Sydney Harbour in a period of dynamic growth in tourism.

Internationally acclaimed the Sydney Aquarium is Australia’s most comprehensive aquarium and isrecognized throughout the world for its unique fish and mammal exhibits.I managed a team of 12 staff comprising of admissions and cash office staff. Successfully implementeda state of the art point of sale system for admissions and back of house.

1987-1988: Headed up the launch for new home furnishing and fashion concept “super stores” in the UK. I managed the openings and operations for 11 super stores in key high street locations.
