UNICEF Canada launched its 25th Team in 2015 and represented a 4-year commitment to support UNICEF's work focused on the health and well-being of children and mothers in 5 countries, namely Cambodia, Indonesia, Namibia, Ethiopia and Peru. Our team is comprised of 60 inspired women from across Canada. Through the 25th Team, we learned about international development and maternal, newborn and child health programs. The formal program concluded in 2019, and we now continue in our advocacy for UNICEF with our deepened knowledge of its work.

Over the years I have had various roles in the organization of the annual Chefs for UNICEF Water For Life Gala, including chairing the Auction Committee to currently sitting on the Executive Committee and the Patrons Council as Gala Chair.➟ During my tenure as chair of the Auction Committee, I strategized with and motivated my team resulting in a significant increase in the proceeds of our auction.➟ As Gala Chair, I lead the organization of Gala and the generation of revenue from table sales and sponsorships. In the past few years, the Gala has experienced exceptional growth in revenue and has continually achieved a cost-to-revenue ratio that is far below industry standard.

Matrix was the publicly-listed parent company of two wholly owned subsidiaries (SEAMARK and GrowthWorks) operating nationally as a diversified asset and wealth management company. ➟ In this role, I was responsible for corporate secretary duties of this public company and provided general legal counsel to the management team and the Board of Directors on regulatory obligations, content of continuous disclosure documents and general corporate matters.➟ I drafted the company's inaugural corporate governance documents for approval by the Board of Directors.➟ I developed a sustainable and efficient tracking system for the Board and management team to ensure complete and accurate deliverables.

Etruscan was a junior gold mining company focused on exploration with production beginning in 2008 on its first mine in West Africa.➟ Reporting to Senior Legal Counsel, I was recruited to Etruscan to lead a short-term project examining numerous property holdings of the company to ensure legal compliance and mitigation of risk.
