Co-StewardTransition Bridges Project Oct 2023 - PresentThe Transition Bridges Project (TBP) promotes systemic mediation, drawing on systems thinking and inner work to address complex transformations at the intersection of communities, organizations, and ecosystems. It emphasizes healing-centered approaches to tackle racial and gender inequities, guided by six co-stewards working collaboratively across sectors and lived experiences. The TBP operates with a focus on co-creation, integrating theory, practices, and leadership from diverse disciplines and cultures. TBP currently supports the AIM Network on coastal resilience plans and initiatives in Atlantic Canada, aligning municipal strategies, community needs and ecological transitions through funding from NRCan. Additionally, TBP partners with the Tamarack Institute, engaging its climate and equity communities of practices in dialogues on systems mediation in support of climate action and justice. A key element of TBP is the co-development of systems mediation competencies, tools, and approaches that support leaders and enablers across sectors. TBP is building partnerships that are exploring systems finance to enhance sustainable governance models.
