Short term contract to assist the Implementation Support Unit of the Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention (BWC ISU) with the implementation of the first phase of European Union Council Decision 51/2016 (CFSP).The project component consisted of 4 regional workshops in Astana, Brasilia, New Delhi and the African Union (Addis Ababa) in preparation of the BWC Review Conference that will take place in November 2016.

Responsible for disarmament, arms control and non-proliferation of chemical, biological, nuclear and radiological weapons. I also study armament dynamics within terrorist entities involving non-conventional weapons and have done some work on EU cyber-security policies under the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP).Between 2010 and 2013 I participated as an expert member of the EU delegations in the meetings of the Biological and Toxin Weapons and Chemical Weapons Conventions.

Managing a small international NGO active in the area of biological weapon disarmament. One priority was the development of global network of civil society organisations. The BWPP managed to report to the meetings of states parties to the Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention (BTWC) on how particular issues were being perceived in different parts of the world, while through its outreach and educational activities it was able to raise interest in the prevention of the misuse of the life sciences for hostile purposes. A second priority was to engage with the diplomatic community in Geneva promoting a variety of intiatives and research results from member organisations in support of the BTWC.Between 2006 and 2008 the BWPP was entrusted with the implementation of the first European Union Joint Action in support of the BTWC.
