Finance background with studies and work experience in accounts. 2 years full time Diploma in Finance at a private institute Learnkey Training equivalent to O & A levels that involved various subjects like: finance, business studies, English for business, accounting software, Microsoft excel & word practical among others.Work experience in different sectors like medical supplies & Pharma, tourism, logistical, shipping, insurance, consumer and industry electronics & financial institutions. Have some work experience in other areas too apart from finance like administration & operations. Worked with various accounting software like SFM Shireburn, Sage line 50 & Evolution, Access, Eyesell, Tourplan, Navision, Xero & SAP. Knowledge of excel formulas like sumifs, vlookups, pivot table while working on bank recons and reports. Experience & knowledge of different accounting tasks mainly but not only: bank recons, postings of transactions and invoices, issuing payments, top up of cards, petty cash, handovers and reviews, dealing with auditors, exchange rates, internal transfers, return payments, deadlines with MFSA, dealing with clients and other internal departments, investments & interest rates, helping with monthend tasks & management accounts & other ad hoc tasks.
