I am a Professor of Leadership Practice with over 35 years of experience teaching, presenting, and working with groups to develop management techniques and practices in order to build institutional knowledge around international management, globalisation, cross cultural differences, and change management. I teach an executive international management and design courses for Ashridge's MBA programme. And I serve as a visiting faculty at GIBS, South Africa, HKUST Hong Kong, LBS, and Vlerick. I specialise in topics such as organisational change, managing teams for the modern, interconnected world and leadership. Additionally, I have taught and designed executive courses, and consulted for firms in North and South America, Europe, Asia , Middle East, and Australia. I speaks regularly at in-company conferences around these topics. I enjoy these types of events, because they let me connect with real leaders and managers on the ground.My interests are linking the strategic aspects of how a company functions to the 'softer areas' in business. My responsibilities as a professor are mainly in developing and delivering management development programmes for international clients. I've worked alongside of companies such as, Rockwell Automation, Electrolux, ICL, Perstorp, VNU , Klockner , Royal Sun Alliance Kappa., Tetra Pak, Eurapco, Rexam, ACNielsen, a.o.My previous business and academic experience is rooted in the human resources department at Honeywell, and management development manager at Honeywell's European HQ. I was responsible for the development and design of management programmes. I also served as a trainer for several courses in team building and performance management throughout Europe. Additionally, I worked for a Swedish consultancy group for recruitment, assessment, and coaching throughout the business sector. And as a research assistant with the Centre for Organisational and Personnel Psychology in Belgium. I strive to build better teams for our interconnected teams, and by doing so; helping to bring us all a bit closer together through mutual understandings of our differences and ensuring our leadership promote this.
