 Provide region-wide (6 cities: Shanghai, Suzhou, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Ningbo, Nanchang) strategic direction, guidance and leadership to the formulations and deployment of branch banking strategy (including both retail banking and private banking) Deliver superior financial performance for Branch Banking and work closely with other sales & service teams to manage & deliver specific sales, service, governance & risk KPIs. Develop an infrastructure of efficiency and effectiveness throughout the branch banking business through resource optimization, process re-engineering and cost/capacity management across value streams and functions. Design and implement an effective corporate governance structure in line with the regulatory requirements; ensure there are appropriate frameworks in place for effective management of operational, conduct, reputational, client and compliance risks within Shanghai Branch, and compliance with applicable internal policies and external laws and regulations.

Take overall responsibilities of asset sales pan China including: pan China Secured Lending team (110 sales force), pan China Unsecured Lending team (510 sales force), pan China Credit Card team (50 sales force), pan China Employee Banking team (10 sales force)Lead Asset sales team to deliver Economic Profit ambition and build sustainable business growth by focusing on managing and investing on people, delivering sales volume, cross-sell, and customer acquisition targets. Participate in the development of a distinctive CB country strategy and drive the implementation to achieve the financials and balance sheet objectives.

 Responsible to set up high-end priority banking hubs in China -a new sales model rolled out by Standard Chartered Group in 2010 to group top performing RMs together in each hub (20-40 RMs per hub) to catch the business opportunities in the catchment areas of High Net Worth segments. Responsible for Priority Banking sales performance, service delivery and the unique premium customer experience to High Net Worth individuals.

 Responsible for the sales performance, service delivery and brand name awareness of both Priority Banking and Excel Banking, two major brand segments of the Bank.

Short term assignment in Hong Kong as part of talent exchange by Standard Chartered Bank China to set up private banking segment in Hong Kong
