I recently started work in the User Office at ORNL managing the general user proposal call for the SNS and HFIR neutron scattering facilities. Prior to this I was at User Assistant in the User Office helping with the onboarding of visiting scientists, and working on various projects in our division. I got my start at ORNL providing support for environmental and geological research projects, including field, lab, and data analysis. I like to "work smart" through planning, organization, and improving efficiency. I am greatly interested in applying science to improve communities, and educating the public about the importance of science in every day life. I enjoy volunteering when I can to support science education activities, such as the annual Ecybermission STEM competition.Fun Fact - my profile photo is one I took at the Sudbury Impact Structure in Canada showing shatter cones!
