As an innovative senior leader in the new media and entertainment industry, I develop deals, design strategies and manage teams that do way more than just increase our bottom line. I get to be part of the emerging technologies and content delivery systems that redefine what entertainment actually means – all while being driven by consumer demand.As the Head of Advisory, Gaming and Esports at UTA, my team and I are constantly developing innovative ideas, negotiating partnerships and IP integrations, and long term cohesive executional strategies to ensure brands and game studios find and grow their audiences while maximizing their budgets. Prior to joining UTA I served as the Co-Head of Global Talent Business at Twitch, where my team and I constantly developed business strategies to retain and motivate top creators to stay on Twitch exclusively while simultaneously pursuing for new revenue streams. Under my watch, we increased our overall revenue, provided value to the creator economy, and increased DE&I initiatives in the gaming industry.Before joining Twitch, I crafted eight figure deals with some of the world's largest entertainment, media, and gaming companies, including Activision Blizzard, Disney, Pixar, Lucasfilm, Amazon, and key retailers like Wal-Mart. More than just contractual agreements, I helped define new markets for digital content delivery, setting industry-wide standards that other firms quickly adopted. My greatest accomplishments are related to my commitment to innovation. I have secured 22 patents and submitted an additional dozen for review. At Disney, I received 10 Disney Inventor Awards. At Activision, my team set a company record for the number of patents filed within 12 months. What is my secret? I encourage my team to constantly think outside of the box, pursue their passions, and find ways to marry that with emerging technologies like AR/VR, LLMs and Generative AI. Not only that, we leverage these new concepts to develop consumable entertainment packages for our future customers. On a personal level, I an avid sports fan and gamer. I love the blend of entertainment and technology, especially with the potential of improving the way people interact with their favorite characters, influencers, and franchises.
