As a Business System Consultant, I develop automation scripts using Power Automate, Power Query, and the Java (Selenium/Selenide) to assist the Underwriting department in both essential business and convenience projects.

As an Underwriter for the Northeastern US, my role includes front-end risk evaluation and creative risk reduction to ensure profitability while growing agent loyalty. I've worked multiple audits including the Late Pay List, Dwelling Under Construction, Risk Declined, HO4 CW Same Day, and Agent of Record change audits.In addition to my contractual job responsibilities, I've developed ten automated tracker processes in Excel and Google Sheets utilizing Power Query and Power Automate. These project include, but are not limited to: audit trackers, which to collect and filter multiple underwriting audits for seamless use by the team and centralized tracking for management; a departmental metrics calculator; an agent audit tracker, which takes the top offenders from each team's audit tracker and reports them to the Director for review; and an attendance calculator, which is utilized by the whole of the Underwriting management team to record tardiness, assign credits for monthly perfect attendance, expire year-old demerits, and report the total demerits on a live and continual basis. After operating as the acting Training Admin Assistant in Professional Development for a number of months, I formally accepted the role in February 2022 until the next Underwriting position opened. In this role, I managed the new hires first-day credentials and assisted them in troubleshooting their hardware and software issues. I also assisted in revamping our presentation material and, working closely with management and multiple subject matter experts, developed additional process guides. The largest part of the role focused on ensuring departmental accuracy and efficiency. To this end, I developed multiple spreadsheets and automation processes to manage our data.

As an Underwriting Intern, I familiarized myself with each subset of the Underwriting department. I assisted with time-sensitive projects in Endorsements, Inspections, Umbrella, and Professional Development.

I tutored mathematics and physics for middle school, high school, and college students. I taught students complex problem solving step-by-step using holistic reasoning: What is our Goal? What do we already know? How do they fit together? I encouraged students to test all solutions by a minimum of two distinct methods to ensure accuracy.

As an F-L.E.A.R.N. Peer Coach, I served a select group of incoming freshman STEM majors that were interested in research. The majority of my involvement in the Center for Microgravity Research (CMR) was spent as part of a team researching aspects of planetesimal formation, namely collisional aggregation and infinitesimal particle interactions. This involved the use of Excel and Python scripts to convert the experimental data into usable quantities. The presentation material produced from my research is available in the projects section. My final project involved granular convection simulations using the LIGGGHTS software.

While employed at AMC, I received the employee of the month award in December 2015 and again in February 2018. After roughly a year of employment, I was promoted to Crew Lead, being the first to hold the position at our theatre upon its creation. This position allowed me to handle small amounts of cash, manage daily floor activities, and organize projects. I was promoted again to Supervisor in March 2018. This position involved presiding over elevated guest concerns, managing crew member duties, completing essential tasks (scheduling films, servicing projectors, etc.), end-of-night cash handling, and other administrative tasks. Perhaps the most consistent and demanding part of the job was providing fair, timely customer service.

Summer Physics for High School Students at USF was a 10-day internship for high school students funded by the National Science Foundation. During the course of the program, I attend lectures, visited various research labs, and discussed my future in physics.
