Dykstra and Meetrix won the first ever Beacon Award from IBM for Best Cloud Computing Innovation. His patents describe novel ways of distributing and licensing software using a cloud infrastructure to any/all wifi enabled endpoints, including people, robots, drones, sensors and autonomous ride-share vehicles.Dykstra runs a boutique law firm, which focuses on representing cutting edge Internet, app, AI and eCommerce companies. He taught IP Law at UCLA for almost a decade, as well as taught a variety of classes at University of Denver, including cloud, internet, cybersecurity and mobility law classes as an Adjunct Professor.
