Research, design, and develop the capability to comprehensively and competitively respond to opportunities associated with government programs for Delta Dental of Rhode Island and its subsidiaries. Supported the full range of Medicaid managed care and other service delivery programs within the Rhode Island Medicaid Program. Areas of focus included: ensuring timely, accurate and superior program performance; business process improvements; management and operations performance reporting; integration of new initiatives into operations; program modifications, expansions and re-designs; supporting the monitoring of and liaison with health care plans and key certified providers; compliance review, and plan/provider problem solving and technical assistance.

Negotiated contractual agreements for commercial products that achieved the financial and business objectives of Tufts Health Plan and supported the overall strategy for the provider network.

Starting in January 2007, provided analytic support for commercial contract negotiations of both hospitals and large physician groups, including network expansion into the Rhode Island market. Promoted to Senior Health Care Analyst in April 2008.Previous work included generating unit cost trends for annual medical budget, bi-annual forecasts and CMS bid as well as participated in cross-departmental workgroups to mitigate unfavorable cost and utilization trends at both network and provider group levels for the Senior Products division.

Produced financial modeling and expense trend analysis while helping assure integrity and compliance of provider reporting. Promoted to Senior Financial Analyst in July 2004.
