CurrentRF testing, analysis and design in support of active implantable medical device (AIMD) product and technology development.• Developing and operating test systems and procedures to demonstrate MR conditional safety of AIMDs.
• Participating in the development of MR conditional safety standards, including as author for RF-Induced Malfunction and Unintended Cardiac Stimulation clause of ANSI/AAMI PC76.• Lead engineer for technology development focused on low power AIMD telemetry. Led cross-functional team in defining system and concept evaluation.• Evaluating RF transceivers in MedRadio and ISM bands for present and future AIMD telemetry applications.• Designing, analyzing, and testing of antennas for AIMDs.• Performing electromagnetic analysis in support of department objectives, according to FDA draft guidance on reporting of computational modeling studies in medical device submissions. Evaluating utility of computational modeling software for department needs.• Company expert for standards including ISO 10974, ANSI/AAMI PC76, and IEC 62704-4.
