I have over 15 years experience in technology and management roles in Financial Services, both for cloud service providers and financial institutions.I have held the role of Chief Technology Officer for Options Technology, a private cloud service provider since 2012, having joined the firm four years earlier.I am responsible for the development, design and continued operation of Options’ global private cloud infrastructure which underpins service delivery to over 200 corporate clients using our ultra-low latency market data/trading & colocation, application hosting and full infrastructure outsourcing products.In my time as CTO, I have lead a number of technology programmes, including the refresh of our low latency network, SAN storage, platform monitoring and Internet/VPN firewall estates. Current projects include desktop, server and network deployment automation and our security practice including the adoption of a new penetration testing regime, security patching, vulnerability scanning and SIEM platforms.Before joining Options, I worked for Insinger de Beaufort where I delivered technology initiatives including migrating disparate front, middle and back-office systems to a single cloud-based platform, a turn-key trader voice/VOIP solution, dealing floor fit-outs and was heavily involved in the due-diligence and integration of numerous acquisition and corporate finance targets.
