The Cloud Leadership Committee provides strategic direction for techUK’s Cloud Computing Programme, ensuring the programme accurately reflects members’ priorities. The Committee sits for a term of two years and helps to identify key opportunities and challenges for accelerating cloud adoption in the UK, informs the development of techUK’s policy priorities regarding cloud services, and participates in thought leadership campaigns relating to cloud computing.

Darktrace is the world’s leader in Cyber AI defense, and the creator of Autonomous Response technology.Our self-learning AI is analogous to the human immune system, and combines supervised and unsupervised machine learning to autonomously detect and respond to emerging cyber-threats. The technology protects all forms of digital environment, including the cloud, email, Endpoint, SaaS, IoT, industrial control systems and traditional networks.

Responsible for managing over 40 accounts. This entails growing accounts through the analysis of account performance, building client relations through routine meetings & identifying opportunities. This is achieved by engaging in technical discussions and demonstrations of the software.The role also involves new business sales, this consists of qualifying new leads and guiding them through the sales process, showing the software functionalities and tailoring it to customers business workflows. Alongside this, I was involved in creating and implementing a successful recruitment programme to bring on a new member of the sales team.

Managed large volumes of inbound enquiries in a fast-paced sales process, where I was responsible for brokering over half a million worth of vehicles. The sales process involved handling initial enquiry to the delivery of the vehicle and post-purchase communication. Alongside coordinating and negotiating with suppliers to source the most competitive prices and stock for accounts and customer specific requirements. During the role, I developed marketing strategies including the design of both online and offline promotional material to raise awareness and increase reach of the business.

The role involved handling multiple tasks at once. As well as entertaining and ensuring a positive high-quality experience for the customers.

I started this company which Identified an opportunity in selling marketing and branding expertise to small companies and self-run businesses that may not have the budget to outsource their marketing activities to larger agencies. Through networking and pitches managed to build up repeat clients. We worked with BehindBras to develop their website as well as social media profiles to increase reach and volume of donations. As well as promoting “The Village Makers Market”, a local market in High Wycombe, which involved the development of their social media and implementation of a strategic marketing plan.

This involved working at Easter (1 week) and Summer Camp (3 weeks). I was in charge of 4 staff members and a group of 25-30 kids, where I guided them through an activity filled day while also dealing with any issues they/their parents had.

Through writing an essay and having a series of interviews, I was selected to represent the Business School in functions and fairs as well as tours around the Business School for prospective students and families.

I was an active member in the 1st team, where I represented the university alongside my team in multiple fixtures. I was voted treasurer of the Society, where I was responsible for working closely with other members of the committee and coaching staff to manage the accounts and make sure all equipment, travel and pitches fit into budget alongside following the regulations of the student union.

I was selected through a process of an essay and interviews for a 1 month China exchange carried out by Cardiff University Business school. The trip involved 2 and a half weeks at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law. These lectures involved an in-depth analysis of the Chinese economy, culture and the language. The trip was then followed by travelling to Beijing and Shanghai. This helped me to grasp a better understanding of how Asian continents handle business as well as the ever-growing market for trade with these continents.

This project entailed designing a Strategic Plan for the introduction of a street market to rejuvenate Grangetown, located in Cardiff. This led to me applying my knowledge that I have gained through my modules into a live project. I was involved in the Market Research and Presentation Team of this project, which led me to researching other markets in the area and identifying USP's and ideas for the implementation of this new market. We proposed our findings to the other teams in the project to develop our Strategic Plan. I put myself forward to present these findings. The presentation was completed in-front of leading members of the community as well as a member of the council. The Strategic Plan was implemented on the 22nd July 2017 and is now an annual event.
