Energy Narrative provides strategic market analysis tailored to the energy sector. As Managing Director, I lead the group's research, client engagements, and operations. I have recently led Energy Narrative projects that have:• Analyzed emerging business models for distributed energy resource (DER) companies, assessed their impact on incumbent electric utilities, and proposed regulatory and strategic responses. • Supported the US Department of State's efforts to establish a credit guarantee facility to support renewable energy investment in the Caribbean.• Provided market due diligence for a global energy trader's investment in a 600 MW power plant using gas-fired engines to provide rapid response to intermittent solar and wind.• Advised the Government of Barbados on battery storage technologies, natural gas infrastructure development, and options to achieve a zero net-carbon balance by 2030. • Performed a full feasibility study of the potential for a regional natural gas market in the Caribbean, including a global review of small-scale natural gas markets LNG and CNG technologies, estimating the cost to deliver gas, and selecting the most appropriate technology, commercial and contractual arrangements. • Quantified the Government of Guyana's expected economic benefits from alternative domestic uses for its recently discovered offshore associated natural gas reserves. • Assessed country-level fuel and electricity subsidies in Latin America and the Caribbean, including supply and demand balances, price formation and tariff structures, taxation and fiscal impacts of subsidy policies.• Advised on the commercial risks and opportunities in Mexico’s wholesale electricity market and initial electricity auctions.

Restrt, Inc. managed Divorce360.com, the world's largest divorce site supporting over 2 million people and providing a comprehensive lifestyle solution for anyone ending a significant relationship. Divorce360's combination of informative articles, community support, and partnerships with financial and legal service providers helped individuals from the initial decision, through managing the divorce process and the complexities of co-parenting.As COO, I led product development and operations from the initial acquisition of the Divorce360.com assets through exit to a divorce mediation group.

I was responsible for managing all energy-related consulting delivered by research staff across IHS. My $20 million target was roughly one-third of company's total consulting revenue.

I managed the interface between CERA's research and consulting operations with responsibility for the sales and delivery of consulting work performed by 80+ research staff. I met the group's $12 million annual target in an exceptionally difficult consulting and economic environment.

Responsible for CERA’s research and operations in Latin America and Asia. Managed offices and staff located in Bangkok; Beijing; Cambridge, MA; Mexico City; Rio de Janeiro; and, Singapore. Responsibilities included:• Expanding and deepening CERA’s knowledge base of regional energy markets.• Building relationships with governments and clients within the region. • Integrating regional market coverage with CERA’s global oil, gas and power services.• Led a major multi-client study on China's energy future.Major client engagements and initiatives include:• Developed a country natural gas strategy working directly with the President and Minister of Energy of a Latin American country• Global analysis of low-cost energy sources for several clients from energy-intensive industries.• Assessed Africa’s continental energy resource potential and future energy market evolution, with a detailed analysis of six select countries.

Rose from entry level associate to leading the practice in less than four years, eventually becoming Managing Director. Led CERA's operations and research in Latin America, responsible for a team of 10 research professionals located in Mexico City, Caracas, and Rio de Janeiro.
