I am recent college graduate from Webster University with a degree in Film Production. Ever since I was young, I have been fascinated with movies and the possibilities that come with them. Most of my life I was constantly thinking about the movies I loved. This led me to pursue a career in the field hoping to learn the tricks of the trade. At Webster, I learned the techniques like editing,audio,lighting,and form that are all integral aspects of film making. As I went through school and learned the technical aspects of film making, I became aware that perhaps my biggest passion was in fact for Film History and Theory. Discussing the important filmmakers who have shaped cinema and their methods, is something I find exhilarating. It feels it gives me a greater understanding of what cinema means. In the near future, I hope to pursue a Masters, so I can talk about films with students on an academic level.
