About Jed Shaw
Raised in China and competent in Mandarin, fluent in English and German, I returned to England to be educated at The Judd School and am now studying Modern Foreign Languages at Durham University where I am in my third year. I am spending six months of this year undertaking a placement as an English language assistant in Heidelberg, Germany. After that I will be spending 90 days as a Private Equity intern for Bridgepoint in their Madrid office.Have been fortunate enough to gain experience in Direct Sales for BT, as well as logistical management for Amazon. 1XV experience for Durham University Rugby Football Club, and former Vice Club Captain, a role in which I am focused on charitable fundraising as well as improving our alumni network, a year which culminated in a charitable fundraising total of nearly £30,000.I look forward to graduating from my undergraduate programme in 2025.
