Mobile Dental Clinic Manager Care Services ManagementLos Angeles, CA and Baton Rouge, LAJune 2014 – PresentWorking under two different franchises - Golden Pacific Mobile Dental in Los Angeles and Fleur De Lis Mobile Dental in Baton Rouge – provides conscientious dental office management for the mobile dental offices serving residents in long-term care facilities throughout their set territories. Manages administrative functions, including customer service with the care facilities’ executives, managers, nursing staff, family members, and the patients.Creates a warm, inviting patient experience while coordinating a large volume of 30-80+ patients a day. Accommodates drop-in patients while keeping a consistent service flow for appointments.Organizes Dentist and staff schedules, including briefing each on scheduled procedures and treatment plans.Communicates with the care facilities and family members on recommended treatment plans and gains authorizations for services. Documents services through EMR and properly codes services for billing insurance and collecting payments while upholding HIPAA regulations.Coordinates the transport, set-up, and operations of the 30’ mobile state-of-the-art dental clinic with over $500k worth of medical equipment, a generator, and plumbing.Ensures each location set-up meets requirements of cleanliness, safety, and CDC guidelines while maintaining compliance with all OSHA, federal and state regulations. Manages supply of PPE.Appropriately handles and disposes of medical waste and other hazardous materialsPerforms and assists with dental procedures, such as x-rays, cleaning, patient transport, and care plan development.Inspects equipment daily, reviewing for proper operations, patient safety, cleanliness/sanitation, and maintenance. Repairs equipment in the field with little back-up resources.Recruits, hires, and supervises support staff including transporters, drivers, and dental assistants.
