As director of JedPlumb, i am ultimately responsible for all works carried out by the company and employees. I am responsible for the overseeing of all projects, to ensure that we meet deadlines, budgets and deal with any issues or variations that crop up along the way. Whilst also ensuring that the works are done with the utmost safety and in compliance with any and all codes of practice and industry standards.Further to this, I am required to liaise with clients, suppliers and agents to ensure the lines of communication are kept open and all requirements and needs of each project are met in a timely manner.Of course, I am also responsible for the management of my team at JedPlumb and need to mange their time efficiently and with consideration to their health and safety as well as that of our clients. I take the happiness and morale of my staff seriously and employ an open door policy, whereby they can always find me approachable should they have any issues where I can be of help. I strongly believe you only get the best out of people when they are not only happy with their roles, but also are encouraged to take ownership and pride in their contributions to the company.
