Hello! I’m Jedai (pronounced Jedi), a Software Engineer in the San Francisco Bay Area.Since beginning my career in the past couple of years, I’ve implemented user interfaces and backend features with Javascript, Python and Postgresql, integrated third party services such as AWS and the Google API, and assisted in deploying applications to production on Linux with Apache. I like to throw myself fully into whatever it is that I need to do, while learning as much as possible along the way.I enjoy working on UIs & interfaces and interactions as much as I do back-end logic, and have little preference in what part of the stack I work in. My professional goal has been (and will always be) to ‘learn as much as I commit’, or, do my best to gain deeper insight into my craft when I write code, no matter how (non)critical or complex that code may be. It also comes with the certainty that the tools and methods we use to create software are not set in stone, and every new technique, feature, or tool we gain is an opportunity to increase our own growth. No matter what I do, I always seek to come away with more knowledge in those of doing my next task or project even better than ones before.I take as much pride in learning as I do crafting solutions.
