I help teams at Grab make user-centric product decisions across the development process by actively identifying user understanding gaps to craft and execute a research roadmap that will bridge those gaps. Most recently embedded with the GrabFood team; I alsoworked with the Shared Services teams prior — Geo, Grab Support, Comms, Trust and Safety.➢ Improved GrabNav adoption among bike drivers by uncovering their mental models on navigation app usage, last mile navigation, and on-road information processing that the product team used to design new features and enhancements. The artefacts from this fundamental study remain a key design tool months after the study was completed.➢ Provided strategic clarity to the Comms team by enabling the team to shift from a feature focused (chat and voice) roadmap to a user needs focused (connections and communications) one that now form the key pillars of their two-year strategy. To accomplish this, we designed a study that uncovered unique behaviours in human conversations around Food and Groceries.➢ Provided guidance or coaching to non-researcher stakeholders as needed, most notably during the monthly GrabFood UX sessions where we test our latest concepts and flows with food delivery app users to tackle design uncertainties.
