TECHNICAL EXPERTISE• Gravity and Lateral Systems for Mid and High-Rise Mixed-Use Building Structures primarily in Reinforced Concrete and Structural Steel.• Plan Preparation of Construction Documents and Structural Analysis and Detailing of Complex Structural Conditions.• Renovation of Existing Structures including Evaluation of New Loads due to Alterations/Additions, Demolition and Re-support of Structural Members, and New to Existing Connection Design and Detailing.• Working Knowledge of AISC, ACI 318, ASCE 7, IBC, NDS, ACI 530, and AISI.CLIENT LIASON• Attend Design and Construction Coordination Meetings with the Design Team, Owners, and Contractors, and Governing Municipal Agencies from Project Inception through Construction Administration. • Management of Day-to-Day Project Tasks such as Answering RFI’s, Issuing Field Sketches for Construction Issues, Site Visits for Construction Document Compliance, Contractor Shop Drawing and Submittal Review, and Report Writing.• Timely Delivery of Client Requests such as Delivery of Construction Document Submissions Throughout the Duration of the Project, Quick Responses to Email Questions, and Effectively Forecast Project Delivery Schedule during all Phases of Design and Construction including Determining Additional Time for Changes in Work Scope. MANAGEMENT• Management and Oversight of Junior Engineer’s Design and Production Work Including Tracking Hours, Mentoring Proper Use of Structural Codes, and Teaching Industry Standards of Practice.• Maintaining Constant Communication with Lead Engineer to Develop Work Schedule, Project Scope Tracking, and Team Task Delegation.• Provide Leadership by Example to the Design Team by Setting and Fulfilling Short and Long Term Team Improvement Goals, Instilling Good Camaraderie, and Keeping a Positive Attitude and Maintaining Composure During Insurmountable Project Deadlines.
