I love to break the rules, to take things apart and put it back together. I'm intrigued by things that are "impossible" or when the answer is "too obvious"--I have been fortunate enough to have built my career around this. I started at OpenX as their first non-finance analyst. I grew the culture of looking directly at the raw data, running experiments, questioning the status quo, thinking about the important issues rather than just the urgent ones, and built a team around that. We were responsible for running the heart of company. We understood what made it beat, what made it happy, and what made it sad.
