During my time as a Class Teacher at Peacemakers Bilingual International School, I had the incredible opportunity to immerse myself in a diverse community of individuals from various backgrounds and cultures. This experience allowed me to expand my horizons and embrace new educational methodologies.One of the highlights of my tenure was the chance to integrate my passion for music and language learning. I actively engaged with my students by singing and playing the guitar, while they, in turn, taught me French. This collaborative approach fostered an inclusive and dynamic classroom environment where we all learned from one another.Working at Peacemakers International School was a transformative experience that honed my skills in various areas. As a class teacher, while still attending school myself, I developed exceptional time management skills, balancing my responsibilities effectively. The environment also cultivated my adaptability, as I navigated different cultural perspectives and teaching methods.Furthermore, my time at Peacemakers enhanced my language proficiency, particularly in French. Engaging with students who spoke French as their primary language provided me with practical experience and deepened my understanding of the language.Perhaps most importantly, being a class teacher allowed me to cultivate empathy and effective people management skills.
