Responsible for all aspects of litigation including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, engaging in motion practice, taking and defending depositions, engaging in settlement negotiations, appearing in court, and reporting directly to the client. Litigated a wide range of legal issues including product liability, construction and design defect, labor law, mass tort litigation, and catastrophic injury.

• Represented City of New York in more than 100 cases defending against federal §1983 civil actions and related state law claims. • Responsible for all aspects of litigation from inception through trial. Obtained defense verdicts in two §1983 trials.• Recipient of the Division Chief Award for Exemplary Legal Performance on behalf of the City of New York,• Defended class action arising from the 2004 Republican National Committee Convention protests.
