Passed successfully. Work done during my "Structures Calculation Engineering Trainee" at MT Industrial Design Wind I+D Department:1. Economical approach and study of the viability for the project. Using statistical data of registered winds. AEP (Annual Energy Production) and Power Curves develop.Study of the different possible winds marked in the IEC-61400 standards, such as: EOG (Extreme operation gust), EWM (Extreme Wind model), NTM (Nominal Turbulence Model)...2. Development of the incident wind model on the structure, using my own mathematical methods derived from the basic formulae.Study of the different loads involved on the turbine sizing, such as aerodynamics and gravitational, applying them to the different loading cases.3. Calculation of the main efforts supported by the structure, such as: axial, moments, shear, buckling, displacement and deformations, resonance, fatigue... By hand and using the bladed program tool. Calculation of concepts related to Tilt, Coning and Prebend, needed to avoid tower/blade interaction.4. Tower sizing (Thickness and Diameter) by using the mechanical limits of steel and the maximum stresses involved.5. Use of the AutoCAD 2D program for the variety of diagrams needed to explain the mathematical approaches used and AutoCAD 3D to include a model of the structure.6. All of this using the IEC-61400 for standards, EHE 08 and Eurocode 3.
